HOW TO REMOVE SETTUP PASSWORD ON HP, DELL, TOSHIBA, SAMSUNG OR ANY LAPTOP AND DESKTOP COMPUTER

Hi, lets get down to business-i know you dont have time fro so much pleasantries

# Every pc is made up if two passwords, or can be set to have two password by default, expect you install a  programme that also passwords your device.

The first is the setup password(the part that the operating systems depend on) the second id the OS(operating system password). This  two password can beset by the user of the pc, the most commonly set password is that of the operating system but that can easily be erased once a user installs a new operation system,  this is because the password is stored in the hard disk disk.

#The setup passwordunlike the os password is stored in the BIOS so that even if you remove the hard disk or chance the operating system the password still exists in the BIOS, This way your pc is more secured , However this can get very dicey  as you may forget your password along the line,

The set up password is very difficult to remove from the pc ,infarct some say it is impossible to remove this password. Guess what,  I found how to remove it.

#For desktop

Note:the system must not be plunged to power before adding or removing any component on the mother board.

1.       Open the desktop to expose the mother board

-loose the screw(screw anti clockwise) in the back side of the pc to remove the cover,  in some pc, like most recent tower systems  there is only one side at its back side that you could loose(to remove or screw out a crew rotate your hand anti clock wise, to screw it back rotate clockwise ) with your hand.  In most  flat systems like HP and DELL your dont have to loose a screw to loose it, to open it all you have to do is

·         Put the system if front of you like you want to use it(with the front-where you have usb ports, ROM facing you)

·         Place  your hand in or look at  the two sides of the system you will see buttons that you could press down, press it down very firmly and Drag the cover of the pc towards you(while)

·         Now the system  is open,  make sure the all power is off and the system not connected to power

2.       Locate the CMOS battry.

·         Remove the CMOS battery

·         Bridge(connect both the positive and nagativepanel togetther with the use of a cable) the CMOS battery(This is the main work you have to do in removing the set up password.

·         While its connected together, power on your pc,  it will be beeping , allow it for about 3 minutes(with CMOS bridged and power on and the system beeping)

3.       Remove the system battery and  power it on again, without the bridge or the CMOS battery

·         You are good to go.

·         Now screw or cover you system just the way it was,
